MEET THE POWER RANGERS, here we have the red ranger Enishi whos kind of dumb and silly but he's (transformers voice) more than meets the eye, the blue ranger Sakyou who is on a revenge mission against Demons (thanks buddy), the green ranger Suzukake who lived with youkai and wants to be a doctor, the white ranger Saneaki who's a #hidden christian that lives in the mountains that has a sassy sword youkai (who.. possessed his sword and junk), and the black(purple?) ranger Tsuzumaru with an iron stomach and -enter spoilers here-... Along with Kayo, our heroine who's talented in the naginata! And ... Well, they're obviously not power rangers, just samurai but they're really dumb and cute together but they all have their own lil problems that are sad (I guess (this game makes me cry)).

THIS IS TENTATIVE BC I'MS TILL IN THE MIDST OF WRANGLING MY UNI SCHEDULE but I love this setting soooo

Souma: actual unicorn who wields bfs (actually a club) that's taller than him. from medieval japan's apocalyptic equivalent, demons are eating his home etc etc.
pros: manly aniki type, can do muscle work and punt hostile sealife miles away
cons: my voice for him isn't firm yet OTL also he knows shit nothing about technology and canon hasn't confirmed if he can swim, sometimes gets drunk??

Shuusui: snarky nerd acts older than he actually is (18). same setting as souma above
pros: snarky as hell, researcher, very intelligent, quick wit if you like sarcasm
cons: an absolute noodle. he once ran away from a horde of monsters summoned by his failed experiment and was really damn casual about it. needs befriending too because he is suspicious of EVERYONE

Lord Light: a calm and composed old man who's actually a deity! he's patient as hell and immortal too but he has simple interests like watching fish for hours on end and making sculptures out of carvable materials for the aesthetic.
pros: friendly 3000+ year old immortal grandpa who will tidy up all your messes in exact precision and talk to fish because the fish need friends too. he has a very calming aura and he will listen to all your problems without being impatient because he can't die and has technically forever of time to do it
cons: he's not fast. as in, his brain is fast but he moves rather slowly... also talks cryptically like those npc sages in jrpgs who only give you advice but don't really do anything
