CHARACTER TYPE/PERSONALITY: The teacher of a Japanese junior high school class, and an unkillable monster threatening the safety of the Earth. Gregarious, upbeat, and good-natured, Korosensei stands out in a crowd, and not just because he's a nine-foot-tall yellow tentacle monster wearing a graduation cap. His carefree demeanor and goofy personality mean he gets along with almost everybody, even if they'd rather not get along with him at all. In fact, he's kind of obnoxious. He can be petty, arrogant, melodramatic, and strict. But his kindness is the real thing, as is his patience, and in spite of his silliness, bizarre appearance, and frightening abilities, he has a heart of gold and a soul built for teaching. Tell him your problems, and he'll listen without question. Rely on him, and he will carry you through to the end. Korosensei has dedicated his life to teaching those in need of guidance, and even though his main focus is on his students, it's in his nature to lead others onto the right path.

Loves sweet food, sightseeing, learning new things, and sexy ladies. Hates water and can't swim. This is a problem. Has a checkered past, but good luck getting him to talk about himself.

Although he used to be able to move at mach 20, he is not nearly as fast in Subnautica... But he's still mostly indestructible with a regenerating body, an extremely powerful sense of smell, and a genius intellect with a seemingly infinite library of knowledge stored up in his big yellow head.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS BEEN UP TO IN GAME RECENTLY: He was mapping out entrances into the Aurora and collecting samples of various kinds of seaweed in the Grassy Plateaus to see if they're edible! Aside from that, he can be found pretty much anywhere in the base; he doesn't go out into the water unless he has to. He mooches food off of anyone who will let him, and has been doing his part researching the specimens they bring back. Since he has trouble sleeping away from home, he's often hanging out in the observatories at night.
TYPE OF CR YOU'D LIKE: Korosensei naturally gravitates towards Troubled Youths, but honestly, he'll be friendly towards anyone...!! I'd like more people for him to adopt as his new "students" haha. He also splits up from him and does his own thing sometimes, though. He looks human but has a lot more spirit/water elemental traits, which can make him self-conscious in Iniidae where most people don't have context for what he is. He comes off as pretty serious and matter of fact, and cautions people a lot (please check for monsters before going in those caves. please, please cook the unknown seafood before putting it in your mouth.) But in a lot of ways he is also just a teenage boy who loves to learn new things, help people out, nerd out about new discoveries, and gently motherhen and tease people once he feels more comfortable with them.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS BEEN UP TO IN GAME RECENTLY: He's been exploring the ocean and testing the wildlife both in the labs and the kitchen, testing the telepathy limits with a group of folks, making friends with cute whales (RIP for May one new whalefriend), and getting accidentally stabbed by poisonous sponges...you know, the usual.
TYPE OF CR YOU'D LIKE: Nerd CR where he can go exploring/experimenting with other people and they can make ridic discoveries is always wonderful. Dumb teasing or friendly bullying or semi-neg CR will get you more of a puffy shouty teenage boy (who will sometimes cook for you if you go about it right.) People reacting to his invisible shenanigans like HOLY SHIT A SCARY GHOST is always funny. God. I don't even know. Just come into my arms I super want to play with all of you!!!

Aside from being a coward who wants to fight and help for his friends, he's really kind of an easily excitable, somewhat naive kid! He's loud! CHARACTER TYPE/PERSONALITY: SO Neil is the son of a pretty high ranking crime family member, and he's been kinda on he run from his father for a while which is why he's paranoid and not really open to trusting people since, you know, avoiding being murdered by the mafia for eight years doesn't make you the most outgoing and friendly guy. Once you get past his defenses tho he's-- actually the pic I put under extra sums up his personality really well. Though he's doing his best to be cautious of the dangers of the ocean, he's also the kind of person who will taste-test unknown plants to see if they're edible or poisonous (they were edible, it's fine!) and explore caves with dangerous poisonous sponges. His reckless streak is somewhat tempered by his best friend Mikleo, who is invisible to normal humans and can literally go inside of Sorey. If you see Sorey wandering around talking to himself, it probably means Mikleo's there! Overall though, Sorey's just a goofy nerd teenager who wants to take his time learning about the world they're in and use this experience to expand his horizons.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS BEEN UP TO IN GAME RECENTLY: Sorey's been MAKING FRIENDS (be Sorey's friend) which includes telepathically singing off-key songs to reefbacks, doing plenty of ocean exploration and testing out the local flora and fauna in the kitchen and the laboratory, and getting into little bits of trouble with tiger plant. But he's actually pretty caring and he will try to help or stop the conversation if someone is sad. He's a bundle of fun though really.

CHARACTER TYPE/PERSONALITY: Snarky, well-armed AI with a terrible sense of humor and carefully controlled violent tendencies. It prefers to have things to do rather than be idle—it has been known to sort laundry—and while generally brusque and sardonic, is capable of becoming fond of people, in particular women with interesting, strong personalities. It is currently a bit lost, being stuck here without its usual working partner, and will be looking for something to do to keep its mind off of that. It comes from a highly advanced post-scarcity socialist utopia, and its politics/worldview are formed accordingly, but it also works for the dirty tricks section of that society, so it's not particularly idealistic and is very good at being a sneaky ass.

- working with Stalkers to make them food receptive/now they bring people gifts or tow them around in return for being fed, yay!
- working with the Reefbacks (this means singing at them) (don't judge too harsh) and helping take off floaters when "asked"
- designing proto-type sand shark armour that she now has on her wetsuit; anybody else want some good old fashioned organic upgrades (why)
- collecting supplies, marking ore deposits, mapping the Aurora (and those supply pods!)
- more that I'm likely forgetting whoops

TYPE OF CR YOU'D LIKE:

Ellana is more goal driven here, though I'd like to see her open up to forming mentor relationships, friendships in general, or even animosity if you want to delve in to the fact she does still believe elves are superior to humans. Sorry. It's true! (Just less true than it used to be.) People willing to go out and explore in groups, collect and bring back in supplies, and otherwise scout and observe are those I'd like to get figured out! She can work on research on the base-end of things, too, just on the magic-or-practical knowledge side, not so much anything straight up technology related.

Specific things I'd like to do include, but are not limited to:

+ careful raids of the Aurora's supply room (BLEEDER DANGERS)
+ raid more LifePods and bringing back their supplies
+ figure out how to make alcohol
+ see if anyone can make a camera to attach to one of our Aurora birds to see if it can fly to land LOOK IT IS A DREAM
+ build some rudimentary surface boat
+ explore those mushroom caverns (sorry Ursula)
+ bring back in live specimens of plants/animals for the laboratory
+ doing more Stalker handling and seeing how much direction they can work with
+ getting attacked by sea life in ridiculous ways
+ moby leviathan encounters let's build our own ridiculous legend of that one leviathan that keeps showing up to rain on our parade/attack us, ruin our fun gosh
+ if anyone wants to help work on a prosthetic arm for ellana i'd love that too!
+ people to teach her more about electronics and modern technology uses
+ people to do magic with/who want to see her form of magic
+ and so on. hit me up if you have anything you'd like to try!

CHARACTER TYPE/PERSONALITY: Roderic comes across as aloof and to the point because that's how he was raised to be by the government agency who took care of him until he ran away. He isn't used to there being a lot of people/noise/activity/life/happiness going on but he'll try to be supportive/cooperative, okay. He's actually nice and friendly underneath all his repression and awkwardness and I wish anyone good luck if they attempt to find that layer in this salty onion.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS BEEN UP TO IN GAME RECENTLY: Hiding from the world besides a select few he feels brave/confident enough to try and make conversation with. After helping create some of the teleporters in the first month of the game, he mostly stayed in the background of things and tried to get his bearings since there are suddenly many people now you guys. So many. He's used to only two people consistently being around him, maybe five on a vacation month. Just so many people. How do you guys do this. This social thing.

TYPE OF CR YOU'D LIKE: Cliche to say but I would love anything for Roderic. I would love for him to find a friend here he'll want to protect/defend/look out for in his awkward ways since he feels a lot of guilt for what he believes is a real death that happened back home for him. Someone he can confide his powers too/help deal with it? Negative CR would be absolutely neato too since I feel like some people would find his silence and his unwillingness to mingle that much with the others... too dour or too much given their circumstances.

CHARACTER TYPE/PERSONALITY: Peridot is a cranky, irritable, and arrogant scientist/technician. She's spent most of her life in a very hierarchical culture and has only very recently started stepping away from it (or even questioning those values). As a result, she's a stubborn, arrogant little know-it-all who tends to dismiss people she thinks of as "dumb" or "primitive" out of hand, if only to preserve her own ego or security. She does have a heart deep down, though. It just takes some digging. But she's usually going to be abrasive, blunt, and altogether condescending. Tends toward panic in life-threatening situations, but she usually pulls herself together. She's really not a fighter, though - just a tech!

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS BEEN UP TO IN GAME RECENTLY: Exploring the Aurora, mostly. And considering putting together some drones that they can use to do wider-ranging scouting sweeps.

TYPE OF CR YOU'D LIKE: Peridot really needs to settle in and learn to trust these people - so people who are willing to put up with her arrogance and bratty tendencies would be great! But so would people who can't, because there's nothing better than two people who absolutely hate each other. Conflict is fun! She is also willing to teach people more about science/technical stuff, just expect her to talk down to you. Forever.

He's overall pretty open to socializing and although he might look ignorant at times, he actually has a really gentle and kind heart! So he won't leave anybody behind!
