A: There’s a Storm on the Horizon
A brainstorm. On advice about the ingenuity of multi person parties, and from admitted lack of understanding of many needs of organics, URSULA has selected you and a partner (or partners) to go to one of the observatories with food, beds, and recording devices to have a jam session for ideas about missions.

You are not to leave the room until you have some good ones. So get cracking! Start suggesting to one another what the base needs to do.

Or get horribly, horribly sidetracked and possibly a little crazy at being locked up together with the ocean staring at you. Judging.

B: The Abysmal Sea
You’re stranded.

One of the planet’s troublesome signal-interfering pulses has just made your communication devices 100% nonfunctional. No matter how you try to call URSULA for help, she isn’t able to respond. The database strapped to your wrist is just a useless chunk of metal now, leaving you without a useful library of knowledge to survive off. If you were driving any underwater vehicle prior to this point, it’s broken down. And unless you’re a mechanic, it’ll be pretty hard to get it jumpstarted again.

Don’t fret! The communication systems always come online eventually, so if you stay put, it’ll boot back up and give you directions straight back to base so you can finally get home. But can you really afford to stay put? The sunlight’s slowly streaming out of the sky, leaving the waters darker and darker with each passing second. Soon, you won’t be able to see five feet in front of you, and the only warning you’ll get of any approaching threat is through sound, if they even make any.

You have a few choices: take a daring risk and try swimming back to base, but on the off-chance you don’t remember the directions correctly from before you were cut off, you’re going to get even more lost, in the darkness of the night no less. Or, you could huddle in, with any friends if they were unfortunate enough to be with you, and start focusing on getting warm. Because spending the night out here in the vast oceans with the entire world against you is becoming a very, very real possibility.

C: Birdnip
The crew has become very friendly with the local population of birdogs, even going as far as moving a bunch of them to the base. Birdogs are pretty friendly creatures for the most part, and are some of the more tamable ones of the planet. That's why there is surely nothing that might go wrong with these arrangements!

Well. Except for the fact a new fauna that was found in a biome seems to have... well, really excite the birdogs. They're completely running amok, everyone from the kitchen to the swimming pool. URSULA would really appreciate it if you could help calm the poor creatures down before they end up hurting themselves or another crew member.

You probably shouldn't use that plant though.

D: Hunting Trip
The crew has been given a special mission on Mountain Island. While visiting, you were approached by Aurora survivor and fast-food worker Jenn, owner of the adorable tabby cat Glitter. She asks you to hunt a horrorsloth down for her. This particular horrorsloth has a scar across its face in the form of several cat marks which explains why Jenn wants it dead. It has a personal vendetta against Glitter and has already tried to kill her several times. Jenn has been able to heal the injuries so far but she’s worried that next time she won’t be so lucky.

So Jenn gives you anything you want from fellow survivor and Lead Programmer Naoko’s gun supplies and points you into the dangerous jungle forests where the Catkiller spends its time. Do you have what it takes to avoid poisonous tree pods and deadly Shrubbacks? Can you find your way through the dark and twisted woods? Or will you find yourselves hunted by the very creature you are trying to take out?

Do it for Glitter.

E: THE AURORA
Quiet except for the creaks and rumbles as the ship settles and shifts, the sound of Reapers screaming in the distance every so often, the Aurora is a creepy place to visit for a mission. The remains of those crew members not buried, and the belongings of many others, still litter the ship's halls. It might be nice to remove any skeletons you find.

Of course, their misfortune is your opportunity to catch up on some reading, browse whatever video games they left, get medical supplies and enjoy the comforts they no longer need.

But is it possible the Aurora is haunted? Surely not. Except sometimes you might hear voices from far away. It might just be the people you came on board with, unless they're with you. Or it might be a Cave Crawler knocking over some recording device. You're not too scared to check, right?

F: RAINY SEASON
When it rains, it pours. Rainy days tend to be the worst. Although you can go swimming in them, the intense storms of Iniidae stir up shallower waters making them murky and difficult to see through. And what if lightning hit? No one wants the first death to be lightning. Are you going to risk that? Probably. If you do, take care of yourself and bring a buddy!

But if you're the type to hole up in a storm, either by choice or because you were unlucky enough to be out in it, now is a good chance to get creative with your use of time! Maybe a game of charades will brighten up the rainy day? If you're on the base it might be extra crowded today so get to know your neighbors! If you're on an island, you could build a mud castle! Just don't go stircrazy.

A - BRAINSTORMING

[ Ideas…Missions…

It wasn’t as if Todoroki was miserable at coming up with those things but it was a little strange for him to immediately speak-up about what he thought they should be doing given that he was still kind of getting his bearings about what had and still needed to be done. Not to mention, the only sort of “missions” that he was really familiar with were those that he was exposed to at U.A.

Above all of the supposed brainstorming, there was one nagging question that Todoroki had— ]

Do you think they’re serious about how we’re not able to leave the room until we come up with an idea?

[ Because, you know, that’s…kind of extreme, isn’t it? ]

C - SUITS

[ Todoroki didn’t see how this could have been a bad idea. Well, no, that was a lie. He could totally see why it was a bad idea but at the same time, he had faith that it wasn’t going to be so bad. They wouldn’t let him—or anyone—into things that were explicitly dangerous. Right?

…then again, even if they were dangerous, he was a hero in training and was confident in his quirk to protect him if things went terribly wrong. Whatever happened to him couldn’t—wouldn’t be so bad. So, it doesn’t take too much coercion to get Todoroki into one of the suits. A simple request and a statement about how it would benefit everyone if he were to do it was enough.

He did gently put his foot down about the suit that seemed to have space for breast regardless if he had any or not. He was fine with a lot of things but seeing himself with boobs was weird. But that aside, he pushed the power button to turn on the suit and things seemed to go okay for now.

Okay, now to move one of the arms. Be mindful not to put too much effort into because it was rather sensitive and if he wasn’t careful it could easily put a hole in wall. Just like what just happened. Wait. What?

Er.... well.... [Marinette hasn't been here nearly long enough to guess one way or another. She rubs the back of her head awkwardly]

I mean, we should have an idea regardless? It could be dangerous?

[ Two people who are still relatively new and without a single clue as what to go about in terms of brain storming. Marvelous. ]

You think they'll hurt us if we don't come up with something?

[ Or is she suggesting that they come up with a dangerous plan... Clearly one of those is better than another. Let's keep going with the better option. ] But they've supplied us with food and water.

No, no, I really doubt that..... she's not that kind of program.

[Marinette's pretty defensive for someone who just got here] Anyway-- let's just come up with something.

Oh, I assume it's very serious, which is why food was provided. Though this amount will only last you two days. Perhaps three, if rationed carefully.

[Despite this, they don't seem concerned.]

Three days to consider an idea seems generous.

[ Because honestly, how long was it going to take anyone to come up with an idea. Todoroki doesn't seem to be that concerned either. Things could be a lot worse, after all. ]

Unless they're going to be judging us on what kind of idea it is before letting us go.

[ Are dumb ideas out? ]

If they judge by the types of ideas, that could be a problem. But if it's just an idea, we should be in luck.

[Though Enkidu doesn't really... have any.]

My apologies, though. I have trouble thinking what the base could need. They coul perhaps use more direction. Is that an idea...?

[enacts]

Them needing more direction is why we're here in the first place.

[ Because if they had any ideas then that would mean they wouldn't need to lock them up in this room in the first place, right? He's really going to hope that they're not being "graded" on their ideas. ]

A place like this would be pretty functional already.

Then that's my idea. We vote for an elected leader of sorts. I'm not sure how, though. We have no kings or experienced rulers like that, I think.

[enacts]

We could choose based on experience and understanding of what we'd need around here. Those are key things to look for in a leader.

[ Probably not the idea they should be going but not a bad one to start off with. ]

Then we merely have to hope that everyone makes the correct decision based on the knowledge given to them.

[The base is teeming with brilliant minds and robotics experts who could provide Todoroki with all sorts of helpful advice and observations to better handle this situation. What he gets instead is Takeru.]

I don't think the walls are what they wanted you to test.

[enacts]

[ That's fine. This is fine. It's just...a hole. No big deal. ]

Probably not.

[ He still frowns at the idea of putting the hole there in the first place though. Todoroki will try to remove the arm out of the hole but instead just makes it bigger.

Ah. ]

[He should... probably actually do something other than just watch, but in his defense if he gets too close to that suit he might end up getting his head taken off, so.]

Can you step back without moving the arm?

[enacts]

I think so.

[ Given that they've given him absolutely no direction of how to use this thing, Todoroki was just kind of blindly feeling in the dark for how to work things. It should have been intuitive!

Well, either way he's going to try to take a step back and this time does succeed and not destroy anything in the process. ]

[With the structure of the base safe for the moment, he can go back to thinking this is kind of funny.]

So you can say half of it works right. Does that count as a success?

[ Funny for everyone besides the person who created the hole and the ones who will need to fix it. ]

For more people to use this, shouldn't more than half of it be useful?

[ Though... ]

It is a good place to start.

Well, if you ever need to punch your way through a building you're all set.

Are the controls really that bad?

[he fully believes that URSULA would keep them in that room until they came up with some good ideas for missions. on the plus side, "good" was relative, and that basically just meant any kind of heartfelt contribution would suffice. points for effort!]

It doesn't hurt to think of a few things anyways.

[ If they're being rewarded for effort then there's hope for Todoroki after all. ]

If you say so—regarding URSULA. [ Though it could apply to both given everything because it was a good idea to have things rolling and going. Being static was the enemy, after all. ]

Do you have any immediate ideas?

[ Because he sure doesn't have any. ]

Hmm. We've pretty much got the base organized, at least the underwater one. We could use more work on the base above ground, so that's something to consider. Maybe fortifications against strong weather too?

[enacts]

Fortifications against strong weather seems like a good place to start.

[ He says with a bit of a nod. If things were okay underwater then worrying about above ground was a good option, especially since there are more typical (familiar) things to consider. ]

Even if there hasn't been a history of severe weather it wouldn't be a bad precautionary measure.

It's a little more than a precaution. We've had hurricanes already, and if we're going to be here a while I'm sure they'll come back through.

[There is a very real concern that an above-water base will be completely demolished by weather.]

I don't know what we're going to do about the ferris wheel either.

[ Todoroki will just continue to nod along, he hasn't experienced much of this so he's allowing Sorey here to take point. Hurricanes definitely were bad news but he gets sidetracked by the more important matter at hand— ]

I didn't know what one was either when I first got here, it's okay. It's a giant wheel with little carts on it, and it spins around slowly and stops every now and then so you can enjoy the view.
