[Making that clarification straight-up just.] One of the reasons I've thought about it so much is that I made a fuckin' stupid move with AI-creation and have been dealing with the consequences since. A dude should seriously think through the ethical and technical consequences of creating a sentient life before doing it, not in retrospect.
