rin's a jerk, meme over.















ok but no like. he made a comment about rin in his texts with makoto where he was like rin's a jerk but he's a good guy, and makoto completely agreed with him. peter usually doesn't get along with guys like rin who he'd immediately mark as a bully, but there's also something about rin that makes him to keep trying and do his best. rin goads him a lot, but in a way that sort of inspires him instead of knocking him down.

peter also has a lot of respect for rin because it's obvious that rin worked really hard to get to where he is right now in terms of swimming. peter may have super powers, but he didn't really do anything to actually earn them and he understands the importance of hard work and dedication. so even though he's kind of a dick, he's like that shitty older brother that bullies you into putting out your best and peter really appreciates that.
