SOREY THINKS KARKAT IS REALLY COOL!! I mean, which is like basic because Sorey likes everyone, but Karkat is also a nerd friend he can be excited at things with. Even if he acts grumpy he still explains things and lets Sorey drag him into stuff and that's awesome??? That is the height of true friendship in his book. He's willing to share Super Useful Information with the base, whether it's troll romance or the impending invasion of an alien species. Both are important. He was honestly baffled when Karkat told him that he has URSULA don't get along because he finds Karkat really easy to get along with (I mean mostly he rolls with any grumpiness with ease so also, it's Sorey). idk he hit it off with Karkat really well early on and is just determined to be his friend because he really likes him. please accept your new human buddy Karkat.

Cute Hajime is cute. He appreciates her...unique approach to things even if he doesn't always understand it. If it works for her, it works for him! (He is still confused and concerned, sometimes, but he can roll with that...pretty easily...like as long as she's not planning mass murder it's fine.) He's also really impressed by how talented she is at so many things, he wants to take more lessons from her beyond just origami. Her creativity is a strong point and he wants her to be able to SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE!! And he was really happy he could find paper for her so she didn't cause underwater plant genocide making kelp paper. Pls tell him if you need more supplies and he will find them so that there is no wanton destruction of natural resources and stuff.
