Thanks for thinking that! I tend to worry about my characterization and do a lot of double checking and stuff.

I've been double checking her pesterlogs and character interactions a lot. I do my research. As I said in my personality description of her, Kanaya is still a teenage girl and has her dorky moments. She's not above tomfoolery and shenanigans. In one of the openbounds she got into a pun war with rose for heck's sake. She has crap taste in romance novels and is Alternian goth.

It's a good thing to do! I think you've got her down really well; she really comes across as very genuine, caring, and young. Whatever a person says about Homestuck, keeping those kids acting like kids was one of the things it did really right, and you're getting it spot on with Kanaya.
