So Ada is amused by him but not in a mean-spirited way! I swear!!
At first she found his ALL CAPS TEXT annoying because Ada is a killjoy first and foremost, dammit. The only reason why she didn't say it the first time was a) people already pointed it out so no need to join in on that dog pile and b) maybe there was a reason for it like the caps broke so whatever. After she gets through that and sees his words and statements for what they are, though, she's realised that he's actually a really clever, observant guy. Even if the way he says (writes) his observations and thoughts out are really unconventional, they're true and worded in a way that she can get behind. Karkat is also blunt as fuck too which really appeals to her take-no-shit personality.
Plus he was willing to get something for Eve, no questions asked except relevant questions that was tied to Eve's happiness and enjoyment of the flowers, so that's a big A++ in her opinion. Someone willing to keep their end of the bargain and go above and beyond it the way he did is a good way to get on Ada's good side. Which he did.
So 11/10 should anything dangerous happen Ada will be willing to grab him the scruff of his turtleneck to hide him behind her. She's got this shit fight her.
