Wedge has well, wedged himself under the front console of the submersible in a futile attempt to look at the wiring of the panel. Unfortunately, lacking appropriate tools it's a futile effort even if he's mechanically minded. He shoves himself free to peer at the Mon Calamari woman. It's still strange to look at Ibtisam when he can remember her death so clearly and the grief that accompanied it. So much like the grief that accompanied the loss of so many comrades over the years. He had to ignore that, though. Confronting ghosts was the last thing he had time for right now, especially with night coming on.
"That should keep us from becoming something's dinner, at least. I have to admit, I'm glad that I was with you of all the people to get paired with." He gives a wry, tired grin and sits up.
