After a couple of years of compressing her pedal fins into boots and spending so much of her time in the uncomfortably cool, dry environments favored by humans, it's nice to be in a place where Ibtisam can be truly comfortable again.

She did grow up on a world like this. But swimming out through open waters in these conditions seems uncomfortably like being out in open space. Besides, at home that would be a target too tempting for krakana to ignore.
