There's the compass we all have in our knives," she says, thinking that's what it was, "But if we lose those, it'd be good to have other means of navigating where we are. The ah... mind speaking doesn't help so much with the direction problems." She holds out her hand, shrugging. "It's worth a try, isn't it? Maybe we can run some kind of line from the base to the surface, too, and get a buoy up as a marker in the next few days."
