Colette Brunel | Tales of Symphonia

A1

[Colette has eagerly accepted the challenge of trying to catch a Stalker, all bright eyes and enthusiasm as she searches around the Safe Shallows for them. It's not every day that an AI like URSULA asks her for help and the only thing to do, of course, is catch one to bring in! Unfortunately swimming is a slow, awkward task. Instead of sneaking around looking she's taken to making her presence known to the sea life and hoping they come to her instead. After all, who wouldn't want a swimming partner?

It seems to work, because she does actually find a Stalker, swimming in search of its next meal. But as it passes by she forgets the task at hand. Maybe there's no rush, anyways, or URSULA would have mentioned it. It's big, but she doesn't find it threatening--who knows, maybe it's friendly.

So for anyone passing by they'll find her reaching out to the Stalker with her telepathy. Hey, I know, you can be "Fishy!" That's a good name, don't you think?

She might need some help.]

[Making friends and playing games sounds wonderful, but hiding gets boring. So it's not long after the game starts that there's a curious voice asking:]

How long do we wait before we have to give u--Oh, oops!

[Thirty feet away, a coral structure crumbles to the seafloor conspicuously.]

I...I can fix that. Can I be "it" next?
