LOL long story short (well sort of short) the wank was basically just that alisha (who is also here in the game) was advertised to be the main female heroine, but she ends up leaving the party relatively early on to do her own thing and is more of an NPC afterward while rose comes in and takes on a more present/major role, which no one expected. she and alisha are complete opposites so more or less everyone was just upset they didn't get as much as their Waifu as they wanted since i guess rose isn't Waifu material or w/e. also sorey and mikleo are more or less canon gay so yeah the reaction to zestiria in jp was... pretty crazy overall...

SHE IS VERY CUTE THOUGH she will crawl into his tentacles willingly, in a totally not creepy way.
